These shades are a dual layer that slide over one another.  So, you can open them for a stripe effect, close them for light and privacy, or roll them all the way up for a clear view. 

Shutter and woven wood shades at Texas ranch

Installed custom knotty alder shutters for the client in Decatur, TX.  The woven wood shades from Hunter Douglas added the perfect touch in other areas.  Kudos to Tammy from  Designing on a Dime for the interior design.....good job!!!!!
