Are your window coverings safe?
October was officially child safety month in window coverings, and I am late in setting up this post. I still wanted to remind everyone important this is. Even if you can't afford to redo your window treatments, at least use cord cleats to keep the cords up and out of the way. If you want to look into new options, go to our website or to http://www.hunterdouglas.com/ to see all of the styles available. There is even an interactive design studio that lets you play around with different options. Give it a try, and remember to keep our little ones safe!

The long days of winter.
Everyone I talk to seems to have the winter blues, except for the kids who get out of school on snow days! I know this season has been colder than normal, and most are ready for Spring. Before we know it, the heat will be on us. Now is the time to start thinking about replacing your existing window coverings with energy efficient treatments. Hunter Douglas has some amazing Architella honeycomb shades that are the most efficient products available on the market today. They come in light filtering and room darkening fabrics, as well as different pleat sizes. The colors range from calm traditional tones to sleek sophisticates like chocolate and grey. They come in a wider selection of colors and style to bring anybody out of the decorating doldrums. See our website for more details!
